94/100 - James Suckling : “The color is deep straw with a striking pink hue. A powerful, ripe dry white with a rich, almost oily texture, but also plenty of pink grapefruit freshness. A hint of bitterness on the finish accentuates the minerality. Composed of 50% clairette blanche and 50% clairette rose grown on sandy soil with a northern exposure. Aged in a mix of demi-muids and larger Stockinger casks. Made from Demeter-certified biodynamically grown grapes. For drinking or cellaring."

Tasting Notes

The fine and very refined nose with aromas of orchard fruits and orange blossom. The palate is impeccable in style, fresh and complex, with hints of stone fruit and a floral touch. A long finish with a beautiful saline and iodized straightness.
Cellaring

Fermentation in new small thunderbolts (17HL) and demi-muids (5HL) from the Stockinger cooperage then aging for 6 months. The malolactic fermentation is naturally done on the 2022 vintage.
