Description

The first nose reveals pronounced mineral notes reminiscent of graphite and pencil lead. As the wine evolves, aromas of black fruit jam, mint and violet are generously present. On the palate, the powerful material offers flavors of camphorated cocoa. The tannins are still a little marked, but time will soften them and reveal the full complexity of this wine.

Tasting Notes

It is a deliciously perfumed Châteauneuf-du-Pape with bewitching flavors of strawberries, powdered rose, garrigue and black tea. Full-bodied but both delicate and silky. A remarkable concentration with velvety tannins, a lot of purity and a great balance.
Cellaring

Each bunch is manually de-stemmed bu hand before being intoned by hand into an amphora. Following this, a co-fermentation and a maceration of 4 months will always take place in an amphora. Aged for 18 months.
